The Umarex T4E TP 50 Compact Gen2 pistol represents the new, improved generation of the most compact weapon designed for personal defense and property protection within the popular T4E (Training for Engagement) series. Thanks to its ergonomically refined grip and small size, this weapon is ideal for concealed carry and rapid deployment in crisis situations.

Caliber and Ammunition

The weapon uses the large .50 caliber (12.7 mm), which is exceptionally effective for self-defense purposes. The .50 caliber allows for the use of a larger and heavier projectile, maximizing the shock effect and efficiency while minimizing the possibility of body penetration and reducing the risk of permanent injury upon impact. The capacity of the under-barrel magazine is 4 rounds, which is a reasonable compromise for such a compact weapon. The magazine operates using a classic compression spring.

Quick-Piercing System 2.0: Instant Readiness

One of the main advantages of the T4E series is the Emergency Piercing System, which has been innovated to version 2.0. The classic drawback of CO₂ weapons—the necessity of not keeping the cartridge inserted long-term—is eliminated with this system. The cartridge (8g CO₂) is inserted into the grip and secured with a cap but remains inactive. In case of need, simply strike the bottom of the grip with the palm to quickly pierce the cartridge, and the weapon is instantly pressurized and ready to fire. Furthermore, the Gen2 piercing cap has been improved and is now designed so that it can be tightened and loosened only with the fingers, without the need for additional tools.

Construction and Mechanism

• Construction: The weapon is built on a robust alloy basic frame, subsequently covered with durable polymer. This design approach ensures both strength and acceptable overall weight.
• Trigger Mechanism: Operates in DAO (Double Action Only) mode. Therefore, you only need to pull the trigger to fire.
• Safety: An integrated blade safety in the trigger (similar to Glock-type weapons) prevents accidental discharge. The trigger must be pulled in the center, along with the trigger blade, to disengage the safety and allow firing.

T4E Cal.50 Ammunition Options

The T4E TP 50 Compact Gen2 pistol offers a wide range of use thanks to the available ammunition:

• Rubber Ball for training use.
• Steel Rubber Ball and RBI with a steel core, suitable for self-defense and destructive shooting.
• PB (Pepper Ball) for maximum effectiveness in self-defense.
• Marking (MAB) or phosphorus ammunition for visibility at night.

The old designation T4E HDP 50 Compact is an identical model to the T4E TP 50 Compact.
