The Umarex T4E HDX 68 (Home Defense Xtreme) air shotgun represents the pinnacle of modern self-defense and property protection. This Full Power (FP) version is tuned to achieve a muzzle energy of up to 40 J. To reach this maximum, the weapon is powered by a large 88g CO2 cylinder inserted into the stock, providing enough energy for approximately 30 full-power shots. Standard 22 mm RIS rails allow you to equip the shotgun with a red dot sight, laser, or flashlight.

Loading of .68 caliber projectiles (rubber, pepper, or marking) is done from the bottom into the tube magazine under the barrel. The Single Action mechanism with pump-action cocking provides the shooter with an authentic experience and high reliability.

With a large 88g cylinder, the weapon reaches its maximum power of 40 J. If you use an adapter for two small 12g capsules, the power drops to approx. 24 J, which is still sufficient for training but lower for serious defense.

2. Can the CO2 cylinder stay in the gun under pressure?
With the standard 88g setup, the cylinder must be depleted after piercing to avoid seal wear. For standby mode (storage and quick activation), we recommend the 2x 12g CO2 adapter with the Emergency function.

3. What ammunition is best for this shotgun?
Rubber balls are best for training and defense. For increased accuracy, First Strike fin-stabilized rounds can also be used.
