PowAir MICROMAX 2.1 HPA Regulator 300 Bar / 4500 PSI – 750 PSI Output
PowAir MICROMAX 2.1 is an ultra-compact HPA regulator for paintball air tanks rated up to 300 bar / 4500 PSI. Its fixed output pressure of approximately 750 PSI / 50 bar (± 50 PSI) is optimized for modern low-pressure paintball markers.
- Input pressure: up to 300 bar / 4500 PSI
- Output pressure: approximately 750 PSI / 50 bar (± 50 PSI)
- ASA adjustment: 16 positions across 360°
- Pressure regulation: durable shims instead of a spring
- Equipment: gauge, fill nipple with microfilter and dual ASA O-rings
PowAir MICROMAX 2.1: ultra-compact 300 bar HPA regulator
PowAir MICROMAX 2.1 is a compact high-pressure regulator for paintball HPA tanks rated up to 300 bar / 4500 PSI. The redesigned 2.1 version uses reinforced internal components and delivers a fixed output pressure of approximately 750 PSI / 50 bar with a tolerance of ± 50 PSI.
The reduced output pressure meets the requirements of many current low-pressure paintball markers. It can help limit unnecessary air consumption while supporting a short, light and easy-to-handle setup.
Shim-based regulation instead of a spring
The MICROMAX 2.1 uses a set of precision shims to regulate pressure. Unlike a conventional spring, this system retains its mechanical properties over time and helps reduce output fluctuations caused by gradual spring fatigue.
16-position adjustable ASA bonnet
The ASA bonnet can be positioned across the full 360° range in 16 individual positions. This allows the gauge, fill nipple and safety components to be oriented conveniently for the selected bottle and marker setup.
Filtered fill nipple and dual sealing
The black fill nipple incorporates a metal microfilter that helps prevent small particles from entering the regulator. Dual colored O-rings on the ASA thread improve sealing reliability.
Color-coded gauge and pressure identification
The compact 20 mm PowAir gauge uses a color-coded scale for quick pressure checks: red from 0–1000 PSI, yellow from 1000–3000 PSI and green from 3000–5000 PSI. Orange O-rings identify the 300 bar / 4500 PSI regulator version.

Frequently asked questions – PowAir MICROMAX 2.1
What is the regulator output pressure?
The regulator is factory-set to approximately 750 PSI / 50 bar with a tolerance of ± 50 PSI.
Is the MICROMAX 2.1 suitable for every paintball marker?
An output around 750 PSI is suitable for many modern markers. Some blowback markers or setups used in cold conditions may require a higher input pressure. Always check the requirements specified by the marker manufacturer.
Can the output pressure be increased?
Yes. The manufacturer states that the output can be raised to approximately 850–900 PSI by installing two additional shims from the appropriate PowAir MICROMAX Parts Kit. Work on a high-pressure regulator must be carried out by a qualified person and only with the tank completely depressurized.
What do the orange O-rings indicate?
Orange O-rings identify the regulator version rated for 300 bar / 4500 PSI. PowAir uses green identification for the 200 bar / 3000 PSI version.
How should the regulator be installed safely?
Installation, removal and servicing must only be performed with the tank empty and completely depressurized. If you do not have the required equipment and experience, use a qualified service technician.
