MILSIG M66 LL: modular 42 mm launcher with up to 100+ J

MILSIG M66 LL is a professional multipurpose 42 mm launcher designed for training, sporting use and authorized security applications. It combines a robust build and break-open barrel with the GL HeatCore system powered by either HPA or CO₂.

Output can be adapted to the selected configuration, pressure and type of approved ammunition. The manufacturer specifies an approximate range of 7.5 to 100+ J. A standard setting around 70 J is intended for suitable projectiles, while the high-output configuration can exceed 100 J. Lower settings can be used for training, sport or markets with restricted energy limits.

Modular design and interchangeable inserts

The system is based on a detachable 42 mm barrel. Separately available cartridges and adapters allow the M66 LL to be configured for various approved training, marking or sporting projectiles.

  • 42 mm: base system configuration,
  • 40 mm cartridge: for compatible 40 mm projectiles,
  • 17 mm shell: holds up to 12 .68 caliber paintballs,
  • 6 mm shell: for 6 mm BBs,
  • MILSIG/A5 .68 adapter: accepts standard .68 caliber barrels,
  • 36 mm option: compatibility depends on the installed 36 mm barrel or insert.

The HPA tank, cartridges, caliber inserts, adapters and ammunition are not included.

Break-open barrel and self-contained air source

Pressing the release allows the barrel to pivot down and expose the cartridge chamber. After inserting a compatible cartridge, the barrel locks back into the receiver. The MATS stock is designed to accommodate a compact 13ci HPA tank for a self-contained setup without an external remote line. CO₂ operation is also supported with the appropriate configuration.
