The Helikon-Tex Raid is a modern uniform shirt based on proven military designs. It is suitable for tactical and duty use, outdoor activities and everyday wear. It can be paired with UTP, SFU Mk2 or BDU Mk2 trousers, but also works as a lightweight standalone outer layer.
PolyCotton Stretch Ripstop
The shirt is made from a ripstop blend of 50% polyester, 48% cotton and 2% elastane. This combination provides breathability, quicker drying and increased resistance to wear. The elastane gives the fabric two-way stretch and supports freedom of movement.
Raglan cut for comfortable use with gear
The sleeves extend directly to the collar area, eliminating conventional shoulder seams. This helps reduce pressure where backpack, tactical vest or plate carrier straps sit. The raglan construction also allows more natural arm movement.
Eight practical pockets
The shirt has eight functional pockets for carrying equipment and personal items. The angled chest pockets fasten with Canadian-style buttons. Inside the shirt are one open pocket and one zipped pocket, suitable for items such as a map or notebook.
The angled sleeve pockets can be secured with hook-and-loop fasteners or Canadian-style buttons. They are complemented by smaller open compartments for small items and a narrow slot for a pen or pencil. Loops inside the pockets allow stored equipment to be secured against loss.
